A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its Miami office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing domestic and international insurers in sophisticated insurance coverage disputes involving complex commercial claims, professional liability, financial lines, and specialty insurance matters.

• 2–6 years of insurance coverage litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing insurance carriers in complex coverage disputes and litigation

• Experience analyzing and advising clients on commercial general liability, excess and umbrella, professional liability, directors & officers, errors & omissions, cyber, financial lines, and specialty insurance policies

• Experience drafting coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, declaratory judgment actions, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs

• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation

• Experience appearing in state and federal courts

• Strong legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and client counseling skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Florida bar admission required or ability to become admitted
