De Novo, a boutique staffing and recruitment agency is currently seeking a Florida barred civil litigation coverage attorney to join our contract bench of vetted, highly-qualified legal professionals. This unique opportunity would be working directly with one of our clients and would allow you the flexibility to coordinate coverage assignments directly. While this is a remote position with us, you will be required to cover any in person coverage assignments within the Miami-Dade county or Broward county, FL area. Ideal candidates will have experience in various civil litigation practice areas preferably personal injury, property insurance, real estate and commercial litigation. This position requires a commitment of approximately 20-30 hours per month. Candidates should be versatile and understand the ebbing and flowing nature of contract coverage work.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in their respective civil litigation practice areas; experience in multiple practice areas preferred

• Must be a Florida barred attorney in good standing

• Must live in the South Florida area and be able and willing to cover in person assignments in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

• Must be flexible, dependable and willing to prioritize De Novo assignments

• Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional time management, organizational and communication skills
