Litigation Attorney

Job Description RumbergerKirk is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with 3-5 years’ experience in general civil litigation defense, with an emphasis on general liability litigation. Position Details Represent clients in all phases of litigation. Manage cases from inception to trial with the supervising partner. Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and argue motions. Interview witnesses, expert depositions, negotiate with opposing counsel. Conduct legal research, draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial documents. Qualifications 3-5 years of civil litigation experience. Litigation experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: casualty, premise liability, product liability, or complex litigation. Ability to handle files from inception to trial. Experience with depositions, hearings, meditations and trial. Strong academic credentials. Excellent research and writing abilities. Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic. Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
