Description JETSET Pilates is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Instructor to champion instructional excellence, instructor development, and brand consistency within the studio. As a key member of the leadership team, the Lead Instructor is responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating instructors while delivering exceptional client experiences through high-quality, on-brand classes. The Lead Instructor serves as the standard-bearer for the JETSET Pilates method and culture, ensuring all instructors are equipped to deliver a consistent, motivating, and results-driven experience. This role plays a critical part in client retention, instructor development, and the continued growth of the studio. Duties and Responsibilities Instructor Training & Development Lead the execution of new instructor onboarding and training programs within the studio. Serve as the primary mentor and resource for instructors, ensuring adherence to JETSET Pilates coaching standards and brand expectations. Remain current on all required JETSET Pilates training modules and hold instructors accountable for completing ongoing education requirements. Foster a culture of continuous feedback, learning, and professional development among the instructor team. Conduct formal written instructor evaluations on a quarterly basis. Attend and evaluate instructor classes regularly, observing a minimum of two classes per instructor each month and providing coaching and feedback as needed. Assist with instructor recruitment, auditions, and hiring initiatives as requested. Instruction & Client Experience Lead a minimum of 10 classes per week while maintaining exceptional instructional quality and client engagement. Deliver motivating, safe, and effective 50-minute choreographed Pilates classes. Provide modifications and form corrections to support clients of all fitness and experience levels. Create a welcoming, high-energy environment that reflects the JETSET Pilates brand and culture. Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to member retention through exceptional coaching and service. Demonstrate flexibility with class scheduling and instructor substitutions as needed. Leadership & Studio Support Provide strong leadership and guidance to foster a positive, authentic, and successful environment for both staff and clients. Collaborate with the General Manager and studio leadership team to support studio goals and initiatives. Communicate instructor feedback, performance observations, and scheduling recommendations to the General Manager or Owner-Operator. Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and active participation in studio operations and events. Support initiatives designed to grow the studio's client base and strengthen community engagement. Brand Standards & Quality Assurance Ensure consistency in class delivery, coaching techniques, and the overall JETSET Pilates experience across all instructors. Model best practices in client engagement, cueing, coaching, and professionalism. Uphold company policies, procedures, and service standards. Maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times. Requirements Current Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor certification from an accredited organization such as NASM, ACE, AFAA, or equivalent (other certifications may be considered). Current CPR/AED certification required. Previous Pilates and group fitness instruction experience required. Prior leadership, coaching, mentoring, or training experience preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and develop instructors effectively. Passion for fitness, wellness, and community building.
