Description:
The unit cares for complex cardiac patients, including VAD and heart transplant patients.
This is a 23-bed cardiac ICU ranked among the top in the nation.
Candidates will be trained on CVPICU if they have PICU experience.
Weekends are mandatory, and staff must float within the hospital.
Travelers must be willing to care for patients across various age groups, from neonates to adults.
Key skill sets required include hemodynamic monitoring, management of chest tubes, and starting IVs.
Successful candidates will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
Candidates will be expected to manage patients with congenital heart conditions.
The environment requires adaptability and a commitment to high-quality care.
