Job Requirements

• ABEM board certification required
• ABPS may be considered in select cases with appropriate emergency medicine experience
• New graduates with the required board certification are welcome to apply
• Ability to work night shifts
• Comfort managing care in a single-coverage emergency department
• Active emergency department experience preferred
• Case logs may be required for credentialing
• Clean credentialing file may support emergency privileges

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medicine care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute medical presentations
• Manage patient flow efficiently in a 12-bay ED
• Work independently as the sole Emergency Medicine Physician on shift
• Collaborate with nursing staff and on-site radiology support teams
• Use Meditech Expanse for documentation and clinical workflow
• Deliver safe, efficient patient care while supporting a positive patient experience
