Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, and maintaining accurate access-related records. Observe inbound and outbound activity at entrances, gates, and designated access points, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must have supervisory experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
