Position Overview Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric – Night shift at Hutchings Psychiatric Center (P27102). Agency: Office of Mental Health (OMH). Employment type: Full‑time, Permanent. Salary grade: 22 (range $113,178 – $124,230 annually). Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing and direct‑care staff. Direct and review the work of nursing staff. Prepare and monitor staffing schedules. Develop daily staffing plans for nursing care. Ensure compliance with nursing standards per state, federal, and accreditation requirements. Qualifications Licensed registered professional nurse in New York State. Minimum 3 years post‑licensure clinical experience with mental illness, addiction, or substance use disorders; substitutions: Bachelor’s degree → 1 year; master’s degree → 2 years. For within‑state service candidates: at least 1 year as RN 2 or RN 3 (or equivalent Grade 18+ positions). Eligible for State Service positions under the NY HELPS Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement program as described. Must maintain license and registration and pass required background checks.
