Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing EngineerHidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems through all stages of the product lifecycle.Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and fixturing for PCAs, subassemblies, and system-level buildsProvide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for production and test operationsCreate and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and operation sequences, following established change control processesAnalyze production and quality data to identify trends, determine root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Assist in the design, build, and qualification of production tooling, test fixtures, and equipmentApply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and support cost reduction effortsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain) to support new product introduction (NPI) and process transitions to productionPerform time studies and contribute to manufacturing cost estimates and process improvementsSupport process validation and qualification activitiesInvestigate and help resolve production, quality, and equipment-related issuesWhat We're Looking For:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailEffective communication and ability to work in cross-functional teamsOrganized and process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentFamiliarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and configuration control practicesAbility to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and 3D CAD modelsExperience with PCBA (RF and/or digital), cable/wire harness, and system-level assembly processesHands-on experience with test and assembly tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, torque tools)Preferred Qualifications:Lean/Six Sigma Black or Green BeltExperience with MES/QMS tools such as Costpoint or TIP QA/SFEFamiliarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environmentsExposure to tooling or fixture design for electronics manufacturing or RF testingCompensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, and disability insurance. The company also provides a remote or hybrid work environment and potential stock options.Salary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $89,000 to $110,000 annually.
