Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. Willing to obtain is allowed.
• Certifications ACLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS (AHA).
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications NIHSS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Medical ICU (MICU) in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment MIC skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Charge RN references within the last 1 year.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a traveler employee of this health system in the past 6 months.
• Additional Confirmations Requires trauma level 2 experience
• Additional Confirmations Experience with arterial line management, central line care/management, and PICC line management is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience assisting with chest tube insertion/removal, and managing BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and ventilators is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with blood product administration, continuous IV sedation, IV insulin protocols, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with CVA/acute stroke management, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with chronic/acute renal failure, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is required.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
• Requested Time Off Up to 10 days of time off can be requested.
