Sr. ABAP & Fiori Developer

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience engineering advanced enterprise software applications utilizing SAP ABAP development.

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA architectures to execute critical code pushdown and in-memory database optimizations.

• Experience with Modern Open SQL scripting including inline declarations, complex joins, and advanced aggregations.

• Experience in building Core Data Services (CDS) views encompassing annotations, associations, and strict authorization checks.

• Experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and SQLScript to drive complex database-side processing.

• Experience in executing S/4HANA custom code remediation, ATC checks, and replacing obsolete ECC functions.

• Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional SAP deployment teams and explain complex database logic.

Job Responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize modern ABAP solutions specifically tailored for high-speed SAP HANA in-memory databases.

• Push complex data processing logic directly down to the database layer to maximize overarching enterprise system performance.

• Construct and maintain diverse Core Data Services views including fundamental, interface, and consumption data models.

• Execute rigorous custom code remediation to successfully adapt traditional ECC programs for modern S/4HANA environments.

• Develop intricate database procedures utilizing SQLScript to systematically resolve highly complex enterprise data challenges.

• Perform advanced performance tuning utilizing ST05 SQL trace, SAT runtime analysis, and dedicated SQL Monitor tools.

• Analyze and resolve system simplification items to guarantee seamless transitions away from deprecated data tables.
