Tieback & Micropile Drill OperatorKeller North America is a leading geotechnical specialty contractor providing drilled foundations, earth retention, and ground improvement solutions throughout the United States. We are currently seeking an experienced Tieback & Micropile Drill Operator to support our geotechnical construction operations.ResponsibilitiesOperate specialized drill rigs such as Klemm, Casagrande, Hutte, TEI, Berretta, or similar equipmentPerform drilling for tiebacks, micropiles, anchors, soil nails, and grouting applicationsInspect, operate, and maintain drilling equipment according to manufacturer specificationsPerform rigging, hoisting, and spotting for equipment movementPerform soil leveling and ground preparation for equipment and materialsTroubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with basic equipment repairsOperate support equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, excavators, mixers, and pumps as neededPerform general labor tasks including digging, backfilling, site cleanup, and material handlingSafely operate hand and power tools including drills, saws, grinders, jackhammers, concrete mixers, and pneumatic tampersMaintain safe working conditions and follow all safety policies and OSHA regulationsTravel to jobsites throughout the Rocky Mountain region and surrounding states, including extended assignmentsQualificationsMinimum of 2 to 3 years of experience operating tieback or micropile drill rigs or similar equipmentHands-on experience as a drill operator in the construction or geotechnical industryOSHA 10-hour (or higher) and First Aid training preferredExperience with dual rotary drill heads, duplex systems, or down-the-hole hammers is a plusMust be self-motivated and willing to travelMust be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectivelyMust be able to perform physical labor including frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 poundsMust be comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather and in confined or uneven work areasExperience in ground improvement, grouting, or earth retention is a plusAdditional InformationSalary Range: $30 - $40 per hourActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by lawBenefits:401(k) + matchingHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)Holiday PayKeller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
