Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

Location

San Francisco, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting within a float pool model, covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU as assigned
• Float to various departments and facilities as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac and critical care devices including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in non-billable onboarding modules and annual competency requirements as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2.5 or more years of ICU experience
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
