About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Ability to float to other facilities and departments. Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters. Demonstrated competency in critical care nursing. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with ICU experience. The nurse will provide care for patients with complex medical conditions. Responsibilities include management of hemodynamic monitoring devices. The nurse will assist with bedside procedures as necessary. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential. The role requires adherence to infection control protocols. Effective communication with patients and families is vital. Candidates must be able to float to various units as needed. The position involves a variable schedule based on operational needs. The nurse must be comfortable managing multiple patients. Experience in a float pool, PACU, or Emergency Department is preferred. Candidates will be required to master essential nursing skills. This includes the care of ventilated patients and those on advanced life support systems. Submittal of references from recent employers may be required. The ideal candidate demonstrates adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
