About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 25 Weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred 2.5 years ICU experience License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to float to various departments and units Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters Description: This is a float pool nursing position. Registered Nurses will float to all intensive care and telemetry units, as well as the emergency department and post-anesthesia care unit. Candidates must have experience in critical care settings. Experience with a variety of critical care modalities is preferred. Travel Nurses may assist in various departments as needed. Patient ratios will be 2:1 during day and night shifts. All candidates must be willing and able to float to different care settings as necessary. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in the specified critical care equipment and procedures. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. The role involves managing ventilated patients, administering blood products, and other critical interventions. Experience in high-acuity care environments is necessary. Candidates must provide two professional references from recent employers. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet operational needs.
