Manufacturing Technician III

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Worcester, MA, 01650. Details of the position are as follows:


Job Description:

• Pay: $29.40- $32.20/hr to start!
• 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
• 3 shifts available:
  • Wednesday- Saturday: 4:00PM- 2:30AM.
  • Sunday- Wednesday: 2:00PM- 12:30AM.
  • Wednesday- Saturday: 6:00AM- 4:30PM.
• Position will mainly be responsible for following precise verbal and written procedures in a controlled cGMP environment, documenting manufacturing processes in batch records and log sheets, conducting sampling and in-process analytical testing, performing pH and conductivity measurements, and operating manufacturing equipment including glass washers and autoclaves.
• Responsibilities also include preparing equipment for operation through cleaning and sterilization procedures (CIP/SIP), preparing buffers and media, supporting cell culture activities from vial thaw through production scale, performing column operations and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and completing load line setup.
• Position will also be responsible for m aintaining inventory levels and supporting shipment of finished materials, adhering to safety requirements and PPE procedures, completing required training, collaborating on process improvements, and supporting production timelines through overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required!
• Lab experience, can be academic or professional, is required.
• Experience with cell culture techniques such as inoculation, passaging, cryopreservation, cell counting, media preparation, and/or working within a biosafety cabinet is preferred.
• Experience with chromatography and/or purification techniques, including TLC, column chromatography, HPLC, GC, TFF, UF/DF, or vacuum filtration is preferred.
• Experience performing basic laboratory calculations and maintaining accurate experimental documentation using paper or electronic laboratory notebooks is preferred.
