Compensation $65.00 - $65.00 / Hourly Hours Per Week 40 Number Of Positions 1 Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Middleware Administrator Position type: Full-time, Contract Hybrid -3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote work in a week Duration: 12 -18 Months Contract Location(s): Either Pennington, NJ / Charlotte, NC / Jacksonville, NC As a Middleware Administrator / Middleware Engineer / WebSphere Administrator you will be: Supporting enterprise Java-based applications and middleware infrastructure in a banking environment. Client wants someone who can install, configure, support, patch, troubleshoot, and manage enterprise middleware platforms Looking someone who migrate WebSphere to Tomcat Day to Day Responsibilities: Outline key tasks and expectations for the role: Provide middleware administration duties for Global Information Security (GIS) platforms, end-to-end, including WebSphere, jBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache). Delivering middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives. Ensuring production stability from an ongoing support standpoint. Ensuring middleware platforms are patched with the most current version of software, helping to manage risk to the customer. Providing Middleware Server administration which includes server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support. Working with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on a daily basis and providing Middleware and Java support. Create, maintain and support the application deployment templates; Serving as a J2EE architect and making recommendations on J2EE best practices in application development. Designing Middleware infrastructure and topology design for high availability and failover capability; All solutions must meet all Policy, Baseline, and Standards along with business requirements. Providing technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas. Communicating with business partners at an enterprise level; Interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC); and, Executing production changes for Bank integrated and regulatory releases with precision. The ideal candidate will have: Required Education, Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Information Technology professional with 5-7 years of experience Must have hands-on experience in WebSphere to Tomcat Server migration. Middleware products: Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat Apache Tomcat Jira DevOps BPM products: Appian Operating System: Linux Java/Container Framework Knowledge Knowledge of shell, jython, and perl scripting Understanding of Network infrastructure ( TCP/IP, TLS,DNS, Load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links) Experience with Release Deploy Tools: Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, BitBucket Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail Work with WebSphere Extreme Scale, BPM Middleware Administration DEVOPS experience Other products: BMC Truesight Server Automation, Harman mDeliver, Ansible Tower, Terraform Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
