- Min 5 years of program control/scheduling experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, marine construction environments, or similar industry\n- Proficiency in MS Project or other related enterprise scheduling software
- Familiarity with NAVSEA or MSC reporting requirements Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Scheduler to join one of our large Federal Navy clients supporting complex ship repair, modernization, maintenance, and new construction programs. This individual will play a critical role in developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, supporting program execution, and providing schedule analysis that enables leadership to make informed decisions across high-visibility Navy programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Project, earned value management principles, and schedule risk analysis within a shipyard, defense, manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n- Develop, maintain, and update resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project for ship repair, overhaul, fabrication, and new construction programs.\n- Coordinate with Program Managers, Project Leads, Trade Supervisors, and subcontractors to collect, validate, and integrate schedule status updates.\n- Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule drivers, constraints, and dependencies impacting program performance.\n- Perform schedule risk assessments and what-if scenario analyses to support strategic planning and program decision-making.\n- Monitor project performance against established baselines and identify schedule variances and recovery opportunities.\n- Calculate, analyze, and report Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics including:\nBudgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS/PV)\nBudgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP/EV)\nActual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP/AC)\nSchedule Variance (SV)\nCost Variance (CV)\nSchedule Performance Index (SPI)\nCost Performance Index (CPI)\nEstimate at Completion (EAC)\nVariance at Completion (VAC)\n- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to program leadership and government stakeholders.\n- Provide schedule variance analysis, forecasting, and recovery recommendations to ensure program objectives are achieved.\n- Identify schedule risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation and corrective action plans.\n- Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), schedule audits, and compliance reviews.\n- Maintain schedule integrity and ensure adherence to program scheduling standards and best practices.\n\nSalary Range: $90k-$110k
