Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager Location: Prairieville/Baton Rouge, Prairieville, LA 70769 Reports to: Branch Manager Classification: Non-exempt Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hours a week) Summary / Objective The Project Manager position is responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects for Wholesale Electric. Essential Functions Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing all aspects of a project. Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables. Establish and maintain relationships with customers, providing updates on project status and changes. Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors. Monitor project expenses and identify cost variances within the project. Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of all projects and related correspondence. Delegate tasks on the projects to project‑manager assistants to complete them. Perform additional assignments at the direction of the supervisor. Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively. High degree of professionalism. Strong math skills. Customer‑service driven. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Supervisory Responsibility The Project Manager Assistant position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities. Working Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The employee is required to talk or hear, stand and walk regularly, and perform some filing tasks. The role is largely sedentary but may involve lifting files and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Qualifications Sales experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry preferred.
