Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)PRN | Day Shift | Gateway Regional Medical Center | Granite City, IllinoisGateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Rehabilitation Services team on a PRN basis.This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing function following illness or injury, and who enjoys working in a collaborative acute care environment.What You'll DoIn this role, you will provide evaluation and treatment services for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, including:Assessing and treating speech, language, voice, and cognitive impairmentsProviding swallowing evaluations and dysphagia therapySupporting patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurological conditionsDeveloping individualized treatment plans to improve communication and functionCollaborating with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation team membersDocumenting patient progress and treatment outcomesEducating patients and families on communication and swallowing strategiesSchedulePRN (as needed)Day shiftsWhat We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited program in Communication Disorders & SciencesCurrent Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredPrevious experience preferredNew graduates welcome to applyWhy Join Gateway?Competitive PRN pay: $37.77–$56.66/hourRetirement savings plan with employer matchSupportive interdisciplinary rehabilitation teamOpportunity to work with diverse acute care patient populationsFlexible PRN schedulingLocationGateway Regional Medical Center2100 Madison AvenueGranite City, IL 62040CompensationCompensation is based on education, experience, certifications, and relevant skills.
