Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our residential properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, responding promptly to resident requests, and ensuring that our properties are well-maintained. Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance servicing. Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner. Perform property inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid potential issues. Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs. Maintain maintenance logs, inventories, and comply with safety standards. Assist in unit turnovers including patching, painting, and cleaning. Participate in emergency on-call rotation and address urgent repairs. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus. At least 2 years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in residential property management. Proficiency with tools and general repair skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and climbing ladders. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
