Make It Happen At HopkinsUnit: Med/Surg, 6AWorking Hours: PRN; 36 hours/6 week scheduling periodShift: Day Shift; 7a – 7:30p; weekend work requiredThe Clinical Technician (Constant Patient Observer) maintains a collaborative relationship with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. This non-certified role observes patients, provides basic nursing care, and maintains the patient environment in an outcome oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and cost-effective manner.Provides patient observation and reports observations to the RNMaintains patient safetyProvides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measuresAssists/feeds patientsAnswers call lights promptlyTakes and records vital signsTurns, moves, lifts, ambulates, and transports patient by wheelchair, stretcher or bed as needed within the hospital or for dischargeMinimum Qualifications:High school graduate or GEDWe're proud to offer a robust benefits package that supports your health, growth, and well-being.
