Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced diagnostic laboratory tests across various specialties such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Assess test results for accuracy, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure lab equipment is well-maintained and calibrated.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and process samples for testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, contribute to the training of new staff or students, and help maintain quality assurance standards within the lab.
• Uphold a safe, sanitary work environment, in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree is required, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure with us is required.
