• Analyze test results for validity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and ensure proper preparation for subsequent testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all testing procedures, mentor new hires or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your career with us.
