Spanish Teacher

About the Role:

Sylvan Learning Center in Marlton, NJ is looking for a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to inspire students and make language learning fun! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners of all ages in a supportive, student-focused environment. Sylvan is open on Monday - Thursday from 4pm - 8pm and on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, personalized Spanish language instruction to students of varying skill levels
• Assess student progress and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
• Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to succeed
• Communicate student progress and updates to Center Director
• Develop and utilize creative teaching materials, activities, and resources
• Collaborate with Sylvan staff to align instruction with center goals and curriculum standards

Requirements:

• Fluency in Spanish
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or instructional experience in Spanish a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with students of diverse ages and learning backgrounds
• Patient, enthusiastic, and student-centered teaching approach
• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field preferred
• Teaching certification
