Most stores open at 9AM and close at 6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Our Earned Wage Access program is available to all employees on the second day of employment. Vacation: Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of active, full‑time service. Access to the FirstCash Pet Insurance program. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and promote a positive, productive environment. Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, recruiting and retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, managing customer relations, and ensuring compliance with asset‑protection and inventory control policies. The Store Manager reports to the area’s District Manager. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and swiftly addressing issues. Assist in training pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels. Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures protect assets. Maintain asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting. Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans. Complete assigned tasks and self‑development training. Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods of time. Demonstrated supervisory ability. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Willingness to assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Flexibility to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Will work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. Computer literate and skilled with POS and office machines. Multi‑task ability in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Cash handling experience required. Independent work ability with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive a commission based off the store’s monthly gross profit.
