Electrical Foreman OpportunityTrueline, a growing family-owned electrical contractor with a strong pipeline of multifamily and commercial work, is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead projects throughout South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Foreman or a high-performing Journeyman/Lead Electrician ready to step into greater field leadership, project ownership, and long-term career growth.What You'll Do as the Electrical Foreman:Lead day-to-day electrical construction activities on assigned projectsSupervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontracted laborPlan manpower, materials, sequencing, and daily field activitiesRead and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentsKeep electrical work aligned with project schedules and milestonesCoordinate directly with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and other tradesEnsure installations comply with current NEC requirements and applicable local codesMaintain quality, safety, and productivity standards in the fieldIdentify field conflicts and proactively develop practical solutionsCoordinate material needs and help prevent delaysTrack progress and communicate project needs clearly to managementTake ownership of assigned projects with limited day-to-day oversightSupport lean internal crews supplemented by subcontracted laborHelp develop apprentices and less experienced electriciansContribute to a smooth project closeout and punch processMust-Haves as the Electrical Foreman:Approximately 5+ years of electrical construction experiencePrevious Foreman, Lead Electrician, or Journeyman-level experienceStrong knowledge of current NEC requirementsAbility to read and interpret electrical construction drawingsAbility to independently coordinate field activitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsReliable and accountable work styleAbility to take ownership of project executionComfort supervising both internal employees and subcontracted laborAbility to work throughout South Central Pennsylvania and Northern MarylandValid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicleNice-to-Haves as the Electrical Foreman:Multifamily electrical construction experienceCommercial electrical construction experienceExperience with new constructionRenovation or conversion project experienceMaryland Journeyman licenseExperience managing projects with electrical contract values of $1 million or moreExperience coordinating crews of 5-10 electriciansProcore experienceExperience working with General Contractors on long-duration projectsExperience developing apprentices and future field leadersInterest in progressing toward Project Management or other leadership responsibilitiesWe Offer:Target hourly compensation of $33-$40, depending on experienceSignificant flexibility for exceptional candidatesConsideration in the $45-$55 per hour range for highly experienced ForemenProject-performance bonus opportunitiesTake-home company vehicleHealth insurance with approximately 50% of premium costs paid by the companyDental coverageVision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid vacationPTO that increases with tenureAdditional PTO negotiable for experienced hiresStrong project pipelineHigh level of field autonomyOpportunity to grow from Lead Electrician into ForemanLong-term advancement toward Project Management and leadershipStable employment with a company that has experienced very few layoffs over more than 20 yearsOpportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding electrical contractorTrueline is an unabashed equal-opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
