Join Our Team as an PT Assisted Living Cook

As a Cook at Farmstead Living, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while providing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents. You will work in a supportive and collaborative team environment where your creativity and expertise will be valued and appreciated. If you are passionate about cooking and enjoy working with seniors, we want to hear from you!

Every other weekend, PT. Daily Mealtimes are at 8:30 am, 12:00pm, 5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences of residents
• Ensure meals are served hot, fresh, and on time
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Collaborate with the dietary team to create menus and special event meals
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and nutrition guidelines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
