Export Compliance Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an Export Control / Trade Compliance Engineer to support classification and export determinations for aerospace technologies. In this role, you will partner with engineering teams to evaluate technical data, drawings, BOMs, software, and systems, ensuring compliance with EAR, ITAR, and ECCN regulations . Key Responsibilities Perform export classifications for technical data, software, engineering drawings, and aerospace products. Determine ECCN and ITAR classifications using Order of Review methodology. Collaborate with engineers to assess technical data and provide export compliance guidance. Support compliance investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews. Develop and improve export classification processes, procedures, and decision guides. Work with Global Trade Compliance and Legal teams on complex export control matters. Required Qualifications Experience with EAR, ITAR, ECCN, and USML classifications . Background in Export Control, Trade Compliance, or Export Compliance . Ability to review technical documentation, engineering drawings, BOMs, and software-related data. Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, or Engineering industry experience. Experience supporting export investigations and compliance risk assessments.
