We take pride in our well-established OB/GYN practice, which has been serving Middlesex County for over 75 years. The ideal candidate will inherit a robust patient base and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and the OB/GYN specialty. Our physicians are affiliated with a hospital recognized as one of the top 100 in the nation. As part of a larger network, we represent one of the most significant groups of OB/GYN professionals in the United States.
Our network includes over 275 OB/GYN providers, allowing individual practices to benefit from a supportive and engaged community. We are currently seeking a full-time Physician to join our OB/GYN practice, which includes a team of 5 MDs, 1 FNP, 1 WHNP, and 1 PMHNP. Obstetricians share on-call duties and serve patients at two locations: Middletown, CT, and Essex, CT.

From the picturesque Connecticut River to lively downtown areas filled with dining and entertainment options, along with convenient access to three major highways, this is an ideal location.
Key Information- Shared call schedule (1:5) with the option for home call
- Approximately [insert number] deliveries annually
- Partnership opportunity with no buy-in required

- On-site surgery suite with anesthesia options
- In-office nitrous setup for various procedures (LEEPS, IUDs, biopsies, etc.)
- In-house ultrasound services with three machines and two accredited technicians
- On-site mammography and breast ultrasound services
- Dedicated mental health practitioner available for practice patients
- Private offices for providers
- On-site billing staff
- 13-month scheduling system
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401K
- Convenient access to New York, Boston, and Rhode Island
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather patient medical histories and examination results.
- Order or perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
- Provide instruction and counseling to patients on adherence to therapeutic regimens, growth and development, family planning, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, monitor hospitalized patients as needed, document progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
- Achieve proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record System.
- Submit billing at the time of office visits.
- Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
- MD or DO from an accredited medical institution
- Board certified or board eligible
- Possession of a Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Federal and state controlled substance licenses
- Eligibility for hospital privileges
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), active listening, and customer service abilities
