Executive Chef 2

Sodexo Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef for Westminster at Lake Ridge, a 300 resident upscale continuing care retirement community located in Lake Ridge, Virginia. This Executive Chef will oversee dining operations for all levels of care.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, ordering, inventory, training and mentoring of staff. Typical shift: 7:00am - 5:00pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. Prior experience working in healthcare environment is desired.

Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $70975 per year - $95850 per year

• ServSafe certification and solid working knowledge of HACCP principles to ensure food safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Education Requirement: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Management Experience: 1-3 years
• Related Experience: 1-3 years
