Business Office Coordinator Orthopedic Surgical Suites of Arizona is a fast‑paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Orthopedic Surgical Suites of Arizona is hiring a Business Office Coordinator! Job Summary The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) manages the day‑to‑day operations of the business office and is responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of Registration, Scheduling and Medical Records. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Knows, adheres to, and enforces all policies of the business office Effective communication and working relationships with the USPI centralized business office Management of business office employees and processes Responsible for the hiring, orientation, performance reviews and training of registration, scheduling and medical records staff Responsible for thorough working knowledge of accounts receivable system including maintenance of the managed care contracts Reconciles the cash receipts to the deposit log Supervise all medical records activities of the center in a manner consistent with the clinical needs of the center Follows all equipment safety guidelines and is personally responsible for knowledgeable use and care of equipment Strategic planning of the business office Maintain policies & procedures and systems to minimize accruals and the rate of bad debt and increase the productivity of related operations Perform other activities as requested by the administrator, and assume other appropriate operational responsibilities as necessary What We Offer As a valued member of USPI, your health and well‑being are important to us.
