Processing Lead

The Processing Lead is responsible for all functions inside the food processing facility including egg breaking room, breaker operations, liquid product filtration and cooling, liquid product storage, liquid product flows and volumes, sanitation procedures and breaking room documentation.

Job Responsibilities of the Processing Lead:

· Perform all functions in the transfer room, washer operation, shell egg product flow.

· Perform tanker CIP’s, pipeline set-up, liquid product pumping.

· Follow written procedures and responsible for plant documentation of USDA and FSIS paperwork.

· Work with department leads and Inspectors.

· Monitor egg breaking room operations.

· Work with management on schedule changes.

· Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, disassembling and reassembling all processing equipment on a daily basis.

· Sanitation inspections of equipment.

Education & Experience of the Processing Lead:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Previous food manufacturing experience is desirable.

· Egg processing experience a plus.

· Prior experience in a lead or supervisory experience preferred.

· Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

· Mechanical aptitude desired.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
