Schedule:

• Day shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am-7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform a wide variety of MRI exams according to department protocols
• Safely administer and monitor contrast media, ensuring patient well-being
• Obtain and assess clinical history, evaluate contraindications, and ensure proper patient identification
• Review and release images for clinical quality, responding to emergencies as needed
• Support colleagues in multiple imaging modalities, assisting with biopsies and prepping patients
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, conduct quality control checks, and maintain a clean and safe MRI suite
• Educate and comfort patients and families using exceptional communication and care techniques

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification required (minimum 1 year experience)
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, BLS or equivalent (all required at hire)
• Proficiency with MRI technology, anatomy, pathology, safety procedures, and patient positioning
• Strong verbal and written communication, detail orientation, ability to multitask, and thrive under pressure
