Schedule

• Day shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am - 7:00 pm

Your Impact:
As a skilled MRI technologist, you will be responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate care throughout imaging procedures. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by supporting timely diagnoses and treatments within a collaborative, fast-paced department.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform and assess MRI exams, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort
• Obtain and review clinical histories, identifying contraindications and safeguarding patient safety
• Follow established MRI protocols, including patient identification and contrast administration procedures
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report issues promptly
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, maintaining dignity and privacy
• Assist team members across imaging modalities as needed
• Document all procedural actions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain joint commission requirements
• Respond to emergencies and support pre/post-procedural care
• Participate in training, education, and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited medical technology/MRI program
• Valid ARMRIT (Certified MRI Technologist) or ARRT-MR certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• At least one year of experience in MRI imaging
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong multitasking, organization, and technical abilities
