JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Machine Operator – Press & Punch Brake to join a leading manufacturing organization focused on delivering high-quality electrical solutions. This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press and punch press machinery to support daily production needs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. This is a hands-on role working closely with production teams to meet output goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision. What You Will Experience In This Position

• Set up and run brake press and punch press machinery, including choosing tooling and adjusting programs.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job routings to determine machine settings and production requirements.

Perform trial runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and part consistency. Conduct in-process inspections, verifying parts meet tolerances and quality standards. Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work areas, and perform minor maintenance. Meet daily production targets for accuracy, speed, and quality while minimizing waste. Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop math. Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges. Good mechanical competence and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Experience with CNC/programmed brake press equipment preferred.
