Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Castro Valley, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse located in the area. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, post-surgical neuro patients, and traumatic brain injury cases. The role requires collaboration within a fast-paced ICU environment to deliver high-quality patient care. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU Neuro experience. Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, NICU experience, Epic electronic medical record system experience, and NIHSS certification. Additional Information: Candidates must possess strong neuro-specific skills such as arterial line management, ICP monitoring, neuro assessments, and management of neurological devices. May float to ED, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department as needed. Submission Requirements: Must upload valid California RN license, applicable certifications, and two references within the last year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
