Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (LD) Duration: 12 months Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Experience: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience required. Preferred is five years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery, with at least one year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years. High risk OB experience is preferred. License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: License and Certifications in ACLS Description: The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience. Experience within the last three years is required. This position is critical and focuses on high-risk labor and delivery scenarios. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage clinical operations effectively. Commitment to quality patient care and safety is essential. The Nurse Manager II will provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role will require effective communication skills and a strong clinical background.
