Forklift Operator

Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a standard sit-down propane or electric forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout our facility.

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

• Certification: Current forklift certification is preferred (or willingness to complete company-sponsored recertification).

• Physical Stamina: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work in a fast-paced environment. You will be asked to do other tasks beyond forklift.

salary: $19 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods.

• Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming freight from trailers and containers; load outbound shipments accurately according to shipping manifests.

• Inventory Staging: Transport materials to designated storage areas, racks, or production lines.

• Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on the forklift and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
