Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week temporary assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,550–$1,616 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Setting: hospital-based Med/Surg unit on a dedicated education-oriented service, caring for adult medical/surgical patients on a 30-bed unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate to the multidisciplinary team as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, with attention to safety, dosing accuracy, and documentation.
- Perform ongoing physical assessments, wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative care as applicable.
- Document in the electronic health record and communicate clearly with patients, families, and health care team.
- Collaborate with nursing colleagues and ancillary staff to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and maintain unit efficiency and patient flow.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or ability to obtain state licensure as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg within a mid-large hospital or Level 1 trauma setting
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work night shift on a 2x3 schedule and meet unit expectations
- No scheduled time off (No RTO) during the assignment
