CT Technologist

Hourly Wage Estimate: $33.27 - $51.00 / hour Job Summary And Qualifications This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge to optimize the quality of life for all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, a Radiologist, and the supervisor of CT, the technologist performs procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric. The technologist is responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient‑care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. When need arises, the technologist will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The ARRT standard of practice describes the clinical competency requirements and job responsibilities. The licensed independent practitioner controls the ordering, preparation and administration of the medication/contrast. The LIP has given authority to a competently trained technologist to perform this function under their control within the facility’s guidelines and policies. Position Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT(R) or ARRT(N) or NMTCB and ARRT CT registry. AHA or ARC BLS Required. Education: Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program. Experience: One year experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Critical thinking skills, patient‑care skills.
