Engineering & Equipment Technician

$28.8 - $39.6 per hour

Bio-Techne

Bio-Techne seeks an Engineering & Equipment Technician to support production of microfluidic and capillary-based cartridges in a cleanroom environment. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing semi-automated manufacturing equipment while collaborating with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including pick-and-place systems and liquid dispensing equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime
Collaborate with engineering team to resolve equipment and process issues
Participate in validation of equipment modifications and testing in production environment
Train personnel on equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting procedures

Requirements

Proven mechanical skills with hands-on equipment maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of automation technologies including pneumatics, vacuum systems, and actuators
Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical disciplines preferred
Minimum 3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician
Familiarity with GMP and ISO regulations preferred
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities

Compensation: $28.80 - $39.60 hourly
