Diesel Fleet Mechanic
Coastal Elite Pro
Role Overview: Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel semi-trucks and trailers. Ensures adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Assess and execute preventive maintenance schedules Collaborate with supervisors on work priorities and issue resolution Utilize maintenance systems for documentation Perform DOT inspections, repair air brake and electrical systems, replace components, and service suspension, hubs, and fifth wheels on tractors and trailers Diagnose refrigeration issues, repair electrical components, and maintain service records Service hydraulic liftgates (preferred) Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED 3-5 years of relevant experience Valid Driver’s License Essential mechanic tools Completion of safe driving certification (training provided) Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, work in warehouse conditions, and perform physical tasks such as walking, crouching, and reaching. Must be flexible to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Travel requirements vary. #J-18808-Ljbffr Coastal Elite Pro
