Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

The Diesel Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. This role focuses on repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining diesel engines and associated systems to maximize performance and safety.

Responsibilities

Repair diesel engines and related components
Perform diagnostic testing to identify mechanical issues
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
Maintain and repair hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot electrical systems related to diesel equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer 1-2 years of experience in diesel mechanics
Proficient in diesel engine repair and diagnostic testing
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical system maintenance
Experienced in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Able to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

We are hiring for a full-time mechanic in our shop as well as a part-time and evening road service mechanic.
Must have prior experience and pay will be based on your experience.
