As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Canoga Park, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic locations to help support access control practices, observe guest activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations in required reports while providing courteous assistance and direction to shoppers and tenants.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
