• Hours/Week: Varies by shift (32-36 hours/week)

• Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine; ACLS, ATLS, PALS (per facility)
• Experience: 1-2 years preferred, depending on facility

Pay & Benefits

• Rates: $300/hr – $325/hr (plus sign-on bonus up to $12,000 for some positions)
• Additional Compensation: Monthly shift differentials (up to +$5/hr for night shifts)
• Travel Expenses: Paid for select TX locations

What You'll Do

• Provide emergency care in high-volume trauma and community EDs
• Assess and stabilize patients of all ages, including trauma and critical cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient care accurately within EMR systems (Cerner, Allscripts, MedHost, or Paragon)
• Write orders for admissions and manage transfers when necessary
• Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards
• Participate in on-call duties and coverage rotations, including night and weekend shifts
• Engage in clinical leadership and mentorship of staff where applicable

What You Need

• MD/DO with BC or BE in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS certificates (per facility requirements)
• 1-2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred
• Valid medical license in North Dakota or Texas
• Strong clinical skills in trauma, critical care, and emergency procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
