Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Cardiac)

Dothan, AL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Block scheduling permitted; every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry Cardiac unit
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 6–7 patients per shift
• Perform ongoing cardiac monitoring, assessment, and intervention as clinically indicated
• Complete pre-start orientation modules and adhere to unit compliance requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license (compact or AL-specific) in good standing at time of submission
• Cardiac drip experience required (Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone)
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities preferred
