IT Support Specialist

Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their Enterprise IT team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of an international and dynamic group supporting users globally. This role focuses on providing remote support to the New York team and onsite support for the Utah team, ensuring employees have the right access, tools, and technical help to work securely and efficiently. Job Title: IT Support Specialist Location: SandyUT Pay Range: $30-$32 Shift: Part-Time 20 to 25 hours per week Monday through Friday Hybrid - Onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays Morning schedule preferred ie 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM What\'s the Job? Manage and resolve IT incidents and tickets for local and remote employees according to SLA processes and guidelines Provide onboarding support for new employees, including a 30 to 45-minute technology onboarding session and first-day setup guidance Administer and support core collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, and Office 365, including access support and documentation Diagnose and support computer hardware and peripherals (including printers), and keep meeting rooms and office desk setups up to date through periodic testing Handle device provisioning, inventory, and reimaging/wipe processes for internal equipment while following company rules and hygiene protocols What\'s Needed? 3+ years of IT Support or Service Desk experience in a heterogeneous environment (Windows and MacOS) Strong Windows and MacOS troubleshooting skills, especially for user and machine configuration issues (Linux is a plus) Experience managing incidents and tasks within SLA requirements, ideally using Jira Service Management Hands-on hardware support experience including laptop provisioning/imaging, device deployment, and inventory management Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users, plus strong patience and customer service What\'s in it for me?
