MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe.Exciting Opportunity at MSK:The Anesthesia Pain Service at MSK Basking Ridge is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive pain management care to adult oncology patients in the outpatient setting. The APP will function with a high level of autonomy, delivering evidence-based care for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain related to cancer and cancer treatments.Role Overview:Perform comprehensive assessments of adult oncology patients with acute and chronic pain conditionsDevelop, implement, and manage individualized pain treatment plansPrescribe and manage pharmacologic therapies, including opioid and non-opioid regimensEvaluate and adjust multimodal pain management strategies in collaboration with attending physiciansProvide patient and family education regarding pain management plans and expectationsDocument all patient encounters, treatment plans, and communications accurately and timely in the Epic electronic medical record systemEnsure compliance with institutional, state, and federal prescribing and documentation regulationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality careFunction independently within scope of practice while maintaining collaboration with attending pain physiciansKey Qualifications:Current New Jersey State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantBoard certification in specialty areaGraduate of an accredited NP or PA programExperience in pain management, anesthesia, oncology, or acute care preferredProficiency in Epic electronic medical record documentation preferredDemonstrated ability to manage complex patients independentlyStrong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skillsCore Skills: A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information.Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.Effective at gaining the support and commitment of others by engaging them around your point of view and priorities.Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances.Additional Information: Location: MSK Basking Ridge, 136 Mountainview Blvd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920Hours: Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week flex, 8 am - 6 pm (Monday–Friday), 1 day remote; no weekends or holidays.Reporting to: Manager, APPPay Range: $155,500-$197,400/annuallyHelpful Links:Compensation PhilosophyBenefitsPay Range: $136,400.00 - $225,100.00FSLA Status: ExemptClosing: At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
