Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with nutritional risk or special needs
- Conduct patient assessments and reassessments, documenting findings and plans in the medical record
- Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition care plans aligned with policy and evidence-based standards
- Educate patients and families on nutrition care, dietary plans, and disease-specific recommendations
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and participate in nutrition-related rounds
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes, ensuring continuity of care

Requirements
- Active California Registered Dietitian (RD) license or current eligibility to practice
- Clinical nutrition experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to work in a hospital environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation and communication skills, with attention to policy and standard practice
- Availability to start on 09/14/2026 for a 13-week assignment and commit to 40 hours per week (day shift)
